Counseling Practice and Mentorship

  • Grief Counseling and Crisis Support to meet individual needs

  • Mediation and conflict resolution to foster a positive school environment

  • Coaching Sports to develop leadership, teamwork, and resilience

  • Mentoring students through personal Challenges and skill building opportunities

  • Provide academic counseling to support goal setting and academic success.

School Culture and Community Engagement

  • Family Outreach, attendance report, and home visits to strengthen home-school connections

  • Collaboration with counselors, social workers, teachers, advisors, administrators to address academic, social and emotional challenges

  • Networking with outside agencies, including behavioral centers, food pantries, and community organizations to provide additional support and resources

  • Development of programs and initiatives to foster inclusivity and student well-being

Every Child and Family is known (ECFIK) Designated Caring Adult

  • Provide consistent support and mentoring to students living in temporary housing.  

  • Conduct check-in with assigned students to monitor attendance, academic progress, and their social-emotional well being

  • Collaborate with Counselors, Social Workers, teachers, and other school staff to identify and address barriers

  • Connect students and their families to community resources that support stability and overall well-being.
